    I know it costs to make a split happen. But I think it could be a wise move since detractors are always selling off to make there daily profits. A lower price would give a much needed boost to eager investors whom are short on cash.

    But, if you say it's for people 'short on cash' that would mean that people would use the opportunity to take some profits, which would lower the price. But you'd own twice as many shares at half the price. Must be a friggin' bargain at half the price, right???
